The uMoth (AudioMoth) from Open Acoustic Devices has Arrived!

Regarding my next/upcoming post: I'm currently working on a brief overview/review of 3 software applications for controlling USB microphones (mentioned here in a recent post). These were the 3 Apps recently reviewed on The BatAbility Club.

On that note: The next device and/or software to be reviewed, first on The BatAbility Club (via live webinar), followed by a detailed review here, will be: The uMoth from Open Acoustic Devices.

The Product Review Webinar will be presented live, for members of The BatAbility Club on September 11th, 5pm London time.

I'm happy to report that The uMoth from Open Acoustic Devices has arrived!

Initial impressions and testing (along with several experiments) have been wonderful! It's tiny size, and flexibility is sure to prove useful in many ecology applications. uMoth Data Sheet Here. For now, I'll just share some photos taken on the day of it's arrival:

Thank you, and until next time,

Happy bat detecting!
