Most of them work but not specific ones. So there's a problem there.
Since posting my mzg I've also discovered that when in Het mode i get a horrible whining carrier tone that alternates pitch as I rune between about 26 and 36 kHz. Obviously picking up some interference from its own circuit somewhere.
Looks like it's going to have to go back to nhbs to be exchanged for another one.
Thanks again for your help. And, as I suspected - the buttons have each been labeled with glow-in-the-dark paint. They should glow for approx. 10 minutes (after being "charged" with a light source).
Of course the glow fades in time, and the buttons may be "re-charged" (to glow for another 10 Min.).

Good luck with your EM3+! So far so good.

But I do have one question for anyone else who has one of these. ..

When I tried using mine in the dark I've noticed that some of the buttons aren't lit up. Namely the record button isn't lit, and the 4 arrow keys surrounding the x/y button are also not lit.
Is that normal or do I have a faulty one?

Thanks for any help.

NealAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6251794512793454139.post-39246881837378365932013-05-23T04:07:37.397-04:002013-05-23T04:07:37.397-04:00Thanks for your question. I'm currently away from home; so I don't have access to any of my written notes. I'm sorry I couldn't help you further. After looking into it some more - It appears that the (good) name-brand manufacturers (SanDisk, Kingston, etc.) have not only stated that their cards are impervious to magnets, but water as well!
