I've currently been on the look out, for a new heterodyne bat detector, to add to my collection. It must be very sensitive, and able to pick up bats at good distances...
In fact, my next detector may be the latest offering from an Engineer in Japan : ) That's right! I bet the majority of you Folks haven't seen a bat detector from Japan yet! : )
Well, nothing is written in stone yet. But, if all goes well, I should be buying it and reviewing it in a few weeks.
I will add the link to the Engineer's Web site here soon - I seemed to have "misplaced" the link (yes, electronically misplaced).
Also, I noticed that I've had some visitors from Japan recently - If there happens to be a commercially available bat detector (made in Japan), that I don't know about yet - Please let me know.
If not, then I'll probably shift my search to a frequency division unit. I guess it's safe to say, that FD bat detectors have always been my favorite, through the years.
